How one operator improved procedural adherence across all teams

US Land Drilling – a client came to us with a problem around procedural adherence and how the office-based team could help the field team be more successful every job.

The process started with a detailed "Plan of Action" in IDEX Planner, approved by the office drilling team. During execution, IDEX Performer was used to ensure all checklists were completed as required — with no “pencil whipping” after the fact.

All risks were clearly highlighted and had to be acknowledged by the field crew, and lessons learned were quickly shared with neighbouring crews to avoid unnecessary downtime.

Driving planning consistency in North Sea interventions

During a North Sea intervention campaign, a client approached us to improve planning consistency and accuracy. They had struggled with in-house digital tools developed as replacements for paper-based solutions.

After working with IDEX Planner for three months during the campaign, the team realised the value of automated workflows that encouraged new ways of working when planning wells. This resulted in significantly improved plans and more consistent planning practices.

Our Digital Strategy is critical to improved efficiency in the Intervention & Stimulation Alliance.
